Whilst not all assistance cases are emergencies, every year there are thousands of times when our customers’ welfare is at stake. The outcome for the customer is determined by the quality and timeliness of our response.
Our global network includes more than 400,000 service providers. It includes doctors, nurses, emergency rescue teams, logistics experts, lawyers, translators, and technicians. All types of people from all walks of life with one thing in common: helping people. Typically we will handle at least 23 million types of assistance in a year, which equates to one every two seconds.
There are two key elements of a strong network. First, strength in numbers to make sure that we have the geographical coverage and ability to respond within an acceptable timeframe. Second, to make sure that the service providers have the quality to provide prompt and professional service.
